Vitra Akari 3A Floor Lamp

Designed by Isamu NoguchiManufactured by VitraDuring Noguchi’s design process, a total of over 100 hand-made Shoji-paper models for his collection were created. Noguchi chose the name ‘akari’, as this word connotes brightness and light in his native Japanese. The Akari 3A Floor Lamp is created from washi paper and bamboo ribbing and is supported by a metal frame.
